Glass Apple Sculpture Workshop
Drop into the world of glass art with our two-session workshop to create your very own Glass Apple Sculpture. This workshop is designed for intermediate crafters who are interested in learning about glass upcycling while creating a stunning piece of art. These Glass Apple Sculptures are one of a kind pieces and use many facets of glass techniques. This is truly a unique Hanscomb Glass design involving cutting glass, stacking, grinding, sandblasting, and patiently waiting for kiln and cure times. The hard work making these apples is worth the final result!
We hope this workshop will help participants to understand and develop the process of upcycling, glass cutting and the satisfaction that comes from designing with purpose.

Engaging in stained glass artistry offers a unique and rewarding experience. However, it's important to acknowledge that working with materials such as glass, lead, and flux carries certain health risks if proper precautions are not taken. This is especially pertinent for pregnant women and breastfeeding mothers, as exposure to lead and certain chemical fumes can pose risks to both maternal health and child development.

Care
Each glass piece is handcrafted with care, and we recommend handling it just as thoughtfully. While durable, glass is still a fragile material — avoid dropping or exposing it to sudden temperature changes. A gentle hand wash is all it takes to keep your item looking its best. With a little care, your piece will stay beautiful for years to come.
Design
Our dedication to excellence extends beyond materials; it encompasses the artistry and craftsmanship illustrated in every piece we create.
