ELORA FERGUS STUDIO TOUR
SEPTEMBER 25-26, OCTOBER 2-3 | 10AM-5PM
Have you ever wanted to see what an Artist's Studio really looks like?
Here is your chance at the annual Elora Fergus Studio Tour.
In the fall of 1987 the “Elora Studio Tour” (now called Elora Fergus Studio Tour) emerged from the Elora Craft Guild. Artists opened their studios to the public to educate about the craft movement and entertain at the same time.
A special time of year
The Ontario fall colours are perhaps among the best in Canada since there are many places to colour-watch throughout the province. This explosion of colour is very inspiring for many local artists and an Ontario winter often marks a kind of creative hibernation. Thus the studio tour offers the opportunity to:
Discover talented local artists and buy one of a kind Canadian Art.
Enjoy nature while walking or driving through gorgeous fall landscapes
Learn about the artistic process and see demos in different mediums

The Studio Tour is completely free of charge. You’ll get a chance to meet directly with the artists, and often see work not shown in gallery settings. Come visit the working spaces of both established and emerging artists, from basements to self contained studios.
Best place to begin the tour?
We suggest that you begin the Studio Tour at the Elora Centre for the Arts. Where you can find maps and directions, public washrooms, and free parking.
Most of the Elora studios can be visited on foot. Out-of-town studios require a car. Watch for our purple and steel sandwich board signs which will clearly mark studio locations.
Here’s your chance to get a look behind the scenes. Take a self-guided tour and meet artists where they live and work. To start planning your visit head over to the official Studio Tour website and be sure to mark your calendars!
