Elora has a full menu of arts events, like the early autumn Studio Tour of Elora and Fergus, where artists open their doors, or the Elora Sculpture Project, a competition and sale that fills the streets and parks of Elora and Fergus with artwork from May to October.

They talk about the town’s unique relationship between artists and businesses as a “golden egg,” with everyone contributing input to keep it alive and thriving. With huge paper templates for work in progress all over the walls and tables around them, they’re clearly happy to have found a creative home in Elora.
“This,” says Neil, “is sanity for us.”
