Hand-Twisted Glass Icicle Ornaments

A Hanscomb Glass staple for many years, these hand-twisted glass icicles have become part of the holiday tradition for collectors near and far. Many return for another set each year, gradually building a Christmas tree filled with shimmering glass and delicate reflections.

Each icicle is shaped by hand over an open flame, creating its slender spiral form. Tucked among tree branches, the twists pick up the glow of string lights and add movement without overwhelming the rest of your ornaments. Hang all six together for a concentrated sparkle, spread them throughout the tree or add them to a window and seasonal display.

Choose a classic set of six clear icicles or bring more colour to your collection with a mixed set featuring red, gold, purple, dark blue, light blue and green. They also make a thoughtful holiday gift for ornament collectors, hosts or anyone beginning a Christmas tradition of their own.
